The Tourism & Hospitality Association of Guyana

The Tourism & Hospitality Association of Guyana is a member of the Private Sector Commission. It is an umbrella body of all Tourism related entities. Members include hoteliers, resort owners, tour operators, travel agents, restaurants, jewellery and craft shops, transportation services among others. This association was formed twelve years ago by a small group of five persons. THAG is also a member of the Caribbean Hotel Association.

Guyana Office for Investment (GO-Invest)

GO-Invest is the primary contact for investors and exporters. It liaises, on their behalf, with government ministries and other agencies in an efficient and effective manner and facilitates and expedites the processing of applications for concessions and other government support.

The Guyana Marketing Corporation (GMC)

The Guyana Marketing Corporation (GMC) is a government corporation established under section 46 of the Public Corporations Act, Cap 19:05 of the Laws of Guyana, which has been working assiduously over the years to promote the cultivation and export of Guyana's non-traditional agricultural
crops to Regional and Extra-Regional markets.

National Trust of Guyana

In 1972, the office of The National Trust of Guyana was established by an act of Parliament. The Trust is committed to the preservation, conservation and public display of all aspects of the cultural heritage of Guyana.

Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been in existence since 1889. It is the oldest and most prestigious Private Sector representative body in the country. From its inception, the Chamber was tasked with the promotion of trade and industry at the local, regional and international level. Undoubtedly the macroeconomic environment that the Chamber operates within plays a major role in influencing way the organization functions.
