Attended the air show put on by the Brazilian Smoke Squadron yesterday over the Kitty Seawall.
It was a lot of fun to shoot but it was also difficult. I've selected 10 photos that I really like. I hope you enjoy them.
This year I included a few photos of people watching the motorcade and a few of other people taking photos.
This year they blocked off part of Sheriff St. for the motorcade so I included a few photos of the floats and people walking past them on Sheriff St.
Finally found the time to upload 20 photos from my first Easter outing with my camera. For most of the day the crowds we small, but by late afternoon Guyanese were in no short supply. click here to see all photos: http://www.ravalonline.com/image-galleries/events-and-holidays/easter-2011
Its a little before 3pm and I just came off the streets. Got only a few but great photos. I'm hoping to post them by tonight, but I'm going back out on the streets to spend time with the misses.
As for what Easter is like today in Guyana, not much activity at Everest Cricket Ground and the Seawalls between Vlissengen Road and Sheriff Street. However the National Park was crowded but yet not too crowded. Just the right amount of people with a lot of room to fly your own kite.
